Hey guys!! We’ve all had stress in any way, whether it is because of school, work, problems with friends, or even family problems, we’ve all had stress one point in our lives. And in that stress period, we probably don’t know what to do so we get even more stressed, and in the end we are back in square one.
So here are some tips I came up with, that have helped me cope with stress.
Block Out The Stress:
Blocking out the stress for a while is the best option to get over stress. For instance, say you have a big soccer game and you’re stressing, because your team is counting on you to score the winning goal. What you need to do is stop everything and just not think about the stress anymore. just thinking about it makes things worse. Here are some ideas about how to block out the stress:
~ Meditation: This is a great way to cool your whole body down. Just sitting down and not thinking about anything is the best way to make your muscles and nerves all calm down, so you can get yourself back together.
~ Exercise: I know, exercise, we try to get out of it! 😀 But exercise is a great way to block out the stress. You focus on the routing instead of your problems. Also if you are feeling angry about something you can work harder and get over the anger. Say for instances, some guy pissed your friend off and you want to do something to him. Just run faster, punch harder, etc.
~ Listening to Music: Just blast that baby up and all your problems will be solved. Instead of focusing on the problem, focus on the meaning of the song.
2). Understand the Problem
A wise old guy once said that to get over your problems you must face them. I know it is probably scary to face stress, trust me it is, but once you starting understanding the problem you will feel 1000000000% better!
Start off with writing down your problem. Understand it, read it over and over again.
Next, take that situation and look at it from different perspectives. Maybe you will find a flaw on your side?
Then take the paper and write down how you feel. Maybe the cure is just to let it go……LET IT GO! LET IT GO, CANT HOLD IT BACK ANYMORE!!!! Ya that song is really old….that’s like so last year! 😀
Lastly take the paper and crumple it up, rip it up, just take all the anger, tears, happiness(?), and anything else and destroy that paper. Trust me, you will feel great!
After that understand that, EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT! Stress can’t last forever, so just forget about it, you will see what happens when you get there!
3). Quick Tips:
Here are some quick tips that may help you throughout times!
* Scream into a pillow for as long as it takes
* Take deep breaths and wash your face in warm water
* Relax with a hot, warm shower
* Tell a friend
* Sleep! (Personally my favorite!)
* Watch a YouTube video for 5 minutes and then go back to what ever you were doing. (Helps if you are studying for a long test)
